Skratch x Creator Classic

Full production for a golf content campaign at the Truist Championship

The project

Ahead of the Truist Championship and Creator Classic, Skratch — one of golf's leading sports media outlets — brought Anomaly Films on to produce a piece of city-and-course content built around two golf creators: Philadelphia local Bradford Wilson and Skratch creator Ben Boskovich.

Anomaly handled full production on the project: direction of photography, executive producing, and edit.

The brief

The idea was simple and welcoming: let a local show a visitor around. Bradford Wilson took Ben Boskovich through a tour of Philadelphia before the two headed to Philadelphia Cricket Club for a windy alternate-shot round on the back nine — the kind of content that doubles as a love letter to the city for anyone in town for the tournament.

What we handled

As production partner for the Philadelphia stop, Anomaly Films was responsible for:

  • Full-day production covering the Philadelphia city tour and the golf round at Philadelphia Cricket Club

  • Directing and shooting on location, working around a live golf round with real-time pacing and weather

  • Editing the full campaign — a hero video plus a set of social cutdowns for Skratch's channels

This wasn't a controlled studio environment — it was a live show with one shot at getting it right, which is exactly the kind of production problem Anomaly is built to solve.

Strong numbers for a piece of golf lifestyle content, and a clean example of Anomaly producing

content designed to travel well on social — not just look good, but perform.

Why it mattered

Golf media increasingly runs on creator-led storytelling — a local host, a visiting talent, a real round of golf instead of a scripted commercial. That format only works if the production can move fast, adapt to a live round, and still walk away with something genuinely watchable. This project is a good example of Anomaly working inside that creator-content world: full production ownership, sports environment, tight turnaround, real athletic content rather than staged setups.
